You can tell a lot about an artist by what he creates. That is the theme behind Owlegories, the animated series. Owlegories teaches kids about God through the amazing things found in nature and revealed in God’s word.
The banner verse for Owlegories is Psalm 19:1-4: "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

GET THE APPWe wanted to create an app that helped young kids memorize God’s word. So we created Owlegories: Memory Verses. In the app, kids hear Bible Verses as they try to catch the owls as the fly, run, and jump around screen. Kids can also play a memory verse scramble game to help kids learn the order of the verses. Kids can also have fun hearing the verses in a number of different and silly voices. Kids start off learning the Gospel verses followed by verses that reinforce the fruits of the Spirit.
COMING SOON!The Original Owlegories App was a family project. Our hope was to create something unique that could involve our whole family. And everyone chipped in to help. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and even our 87-year-old great-grandfather contributed their voices for the original Owlegories app. Our hope is that Owlegories can be used to help kids see God when they play outside. We want kids to know that the God who created the mighty Sun is the same God who cares for them individually.

Owlegories is a family project! My wife and I and our four boys, set out to create something unique that could involve our whole family. I am from Texas and my wife is from Alaska, so we wanted to blend our love for the outdoors with our love for Jesus. We came up with an idea to use the elements of creation to teach our kids about our God. Our first project was an interactive storybook app. And the whole family chipped in to help. Aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and even my 87-year-old grandfather contributed their voices for the original Owlegories app. In 2014, after the success of the app, we started production on the Owlegories Animated Series and our Owlegories Memory Verse App. It’s a mixture of education and entertainment that we think the whole family will love!
